Every mensa, three weeks, one swipe.
The mensas sit side by side at the top. Swipe left or right to get to the next one, or tap its name. The day you pick applies to all of them.

How it works
- Tap Mensa at the bottom.
- Pick a mensa at the top or swipe sideways.
- Pick a day and tap a dish to see everything about it.
Filter
Only what you like to eat.
Pick “Vegetarian” or “Vegan” right above the list. In the filter you can also choose “Organic only” and exclude allergens such as gluten or egg.
- Applies to every mensa and day and is remembered
- The name bar shows where something matches: “2 matching”, “none matching”
- The mensa card on the home screen uses your filter too
The information comes from the Studierendenwerk. If you have an allergy and are unsure, ask at the counter.

Everything about your food.
Tap a dish and you'll see everything the Studierendenwerk says about it.
- Prices for students, staff and guests
- Allergens and additives written out in full
- Components you can expand one by one
- CO₂ per portion, when it's provided
- Save favourite dishes as a favourite
Opening hours
Still open? One look is enough.
The clock at the top right shows every mensa with today's hours and whether it's open, closing soon or already closed. Tap a mensa to see the whole week.

Settings
Your price, your mensa.
Under More, set once whether you're a student, staff member or guest. From then on you see your price everywhere. That's also where you choose which mensa appears on the home screen.
How it works
- On the home screen, tap the person icon at the top right.
- Under “Mensa”, choose your price group.
- Optional: set the mensa on the home screen.
Sharing
Who's coming to the mensa?
Send the menu or a single dish to your study group: as an image that looks good in any chat, or as plain text.
- Tap the share icon, then As image or As text
- You can also save the image to your photos
- Works the same for single dishes

Which mensas are included?
All mensas and cafeterias of the Studierendenwerk in Ilmenau, for example Mensa Ehrenberg, the Nanoteria and the cafeterias in the Röntgenbau and Humboldtbau.
How far ahead can I see the menu?
Up to three weeks, i.e. 15 weekdays – as far ahead as the Studierendenwerk publishes it.
Can I pay or pre-order in the app?
No. You pay at the till as usual with your Thoska. How much is left on it, you can see in the Thoska section.
Where do I set my price group?
On the home screen, tap the person icon at the top right, then choose your price group under “Mensa”.
How reliable is the allergen information?
The app shows exactly what the Studierendenwerk provides. Recipes can change at short notice. If you have an allergy, ask at the counter to be safe.
